Black Friday Sale!
Sometimes life gets wild. Sometimes the wildness combines with a foggy brain to make itself even more wild than it actually needs to be. The latter was the case yesterday morning, when I woke up on American Thanksgiving, after battling a stomach bug for the better part of a week, and suddenly remembered the Black Friday sale I was supposed to be participating in.
The Black Friday sale I hadn’t yet written a post for.
“Help! It’s Thanksgiving, and that post’s supposed to be live!”
I don’t know if it just comes from being Canadian, where Black Friday sales are more of a week-long event than a FRIDAY event, but I kept my unfortunate little delusion that this sale starts on a Thursday until after I had dragged my bug-lethargic self to my computer and written half my post.
Then it hit me.
Black Friday was tomorrow, not today.
My post didn’t need to be rushed out.
Nothing would be on sale until Friday.
So, Welcome to Friday!
Now that the clock has rolled around to the day AFTER Thanksgiving, I can officially say what I started to say yesterday: It’s that time of year again!

I don’t know about you, but I find $0.99 books majorly addictive. Especially when they’re $0.99 for just four days. And after all, what better time (or price!) to stock up on some holiday reading material?
