I guess it wouldn’t be very professional to tell you how much you’re all going to love it. (Even though you are!) So instead, I’m just going to jump right into giving you a sneak-peek preview of what the story’s all about:

The past is full of change and disappointment for the five teenage members of the Matthews and Hall families—the present seems to mock them with its inability to offer what they long for most. Is there any way to move beyond their past and their present and chart a future that will bring all they desire?

Will they find the answers to life’s haunting questions? Is there one solution which can prove the key to all their struggles?

And how will Mr. Meadows’s Desperate Experiment affect their hopes and dreams?

A Desperate Experiment is actually the 0.5 novella of Chelsea’s new Fellowship of Light series. It introduces the characters’ backstory, and sets the stage for the first full-length novel (as well as for the books that follow.)

Chelsea has been asked whether or not A Desperate Experiment needs to be read before the rest of the series. The answer is very definitely yes!

A Desperate Experiment is much more than a glimpse of the Matthews family before the curtain rises. It is the cornerstone on which the plots of the following books are built.

As I mentioned in the opening, A Desperate Experiment is set to be released on July 26, 2021—otherwise known as two weeks from today.

We will be doing an official launch here on the Sheep Among Wolves site, as well as a release tour extending over the following week, and including advanced reviews and behind the scenes features.
