Memory Verse

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.”  ~ Psalm 138:7 (KJV)

 Hymn

“Revive us again;
Fill each heart with Thy love;
May each soul be rekindled
With fire from above.

Refrain:

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.
Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory.
Revive us again.”

– William P. Mackay (1839–1885), Revive Us Again

Examples From Daily Life

“Ah, that cold water is good,” said Philip, taking a long drink from the tin ladle.  “It revives me after a hard morning’s work.”

“I think I am more revived by the knowledge that this is the last portage between here and our campsite,” Mr. Gravesend said with a smile.  “I begin to think that Philip was right—we brought far too many bags.”

“I guess our energy is revived by the water, and our courage is revived by finishing the last portage,” said Robyn.  Then she giggled.  “And that chipmunk is hoping to revive his whole family with the nuts that have tumbled out of our knapsack!”
